Humor in a Marriage
Tonight my wife gave me a compliment of enormous proportions. She said I make her happy because I make her laugh. And she makes me laugh, too. A lot.
The irony about this is that today I heard on TV (so it must be true, right?) that humor between spouses is the most important factor in happy marriages. Beth hadn’t seen that, but that’s the way it is with us. We laugh a whole lot, and being married to her is fun. Evidently being married to me is fun, too. So, 32 years later, we’re still having fun. A lot.
