Daylight Saving Time
I love Daylight Saving Time, but I just wasn’t ready for it this weekend. I missed church this morning because of that, and a friend whom I haven’t seen in months Facebooked me that she missed seeing me this morning. I missed seeing her and her two gorgeous sons, but that’s life.
Susan left around ten thirty to drive home to Atlanta, and Liza left for a “play date” with Gracie and Ella. Their daddy and Liza’s mother, Catherine, have known each other since CCD classes at church when they were little kids, and Matt and Catherine were both soccer referees in high school. Liza has second generation friends. Susan and Catherine have third generation friends with Chad and his sister, Monique, and it’s entirely possible that Liza will be fourth generation friends with their kids. To quote Jimmy Buffet, “That’s life in a beach town.”
