New Painting
Susan got here last night around eight o’clock, and she came toting paintings. One was our Christmas present from Sean from 2007, one was for the art auction Beth is organizing for the Bay Education Foundation, and three are to sell at Liza’s Kitchen. Beth and I absolutely love the one he did for us, and so far all of our family and friends who have seen it love it, too. This is a very poor photograph of it, but this is what it looks like.
It’s 32 1/4 inches wide and 48 inches high. It’s perfect for the space we wanted to put it in, and it’s absolutely stunning visually. I wish I were a better photographer so I could show the various textures and images embedded in this painting. We think it’s a spectacular work, and it’s probably the most original piece of art we own. Thank you, Sean. I’ll try to post another of his pieces tomorrow.
