"Champ, be quiet!"
Saturday afternoon Beth took Liza out so Liza could stroll her baby doll in the baby doll's little pink stroller. They went onto the driveway of our nextdoor neighbors, who have a little dog who's mean as a snake and and who barks incessantly.
"Who's that?" Liza asked. We're not really sure she fully comprehends the difference between things like dogs and people.
"That's Champ," Beth said.
"Champ, be quiet!" Liza shouted. Indeed.
Liza loves a computer, so Beth bought her a toy laptop, for like $19.95. It's actually quite a nice educational device, but she's really too young for it yet. Beth bought it, though, to distract Liza from Beth's computer, which is very accessible to Liza in Beth's office area. Instead of waiting until Christmas, we gave it to Liza last weekend. Apparently, she's played with it almost non-stop since then. Here are some pictures of Liza at her computer.
We would love for Liza to be an athlete like both of her parents. To that end, we encourage her to play ball as often as we can. Here's a video of Liza playing ball with her Nanan (godmother), Susan. I might have posted this one before, and, if so, I apologize. This was taken Labor Day Weekend (Liza turned 2 on October 15) so her language isn't nearly as well developed as it is now.
Liza continues to amaze us every week. We get the best of Liza. Her parents get what Liza is like day-to-day as she goes through the Terrible Twos. She puts on a show every week for her grandparents. We know it, and we love it.
